Several young billionaires have committed to the Giving Pledge. The pledge is a campaign that encourages wealthy individuals to commit at least half of their wealth to charity over the course of their lifetimes. It was established in 2010 by Warren Buffett, Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates. Some of the new signatories include Nikhil Kamath, the co-founder of brokerage firm Zerodha, and Melanie Perkins and Cliff Obrecht, the co-founders of Canva.
