Environment: Making Room for Everyone

Smith committed to helping find solutions to the world’s environmental problems, starting with the preservation and promotion of the value of our natural world. At the core of his efforts is support of groups that preserve green spaces accessible to everyone, from families out for a weekend hike to young children experiencing green space in their own cities. It’s important to Smith that everyone has access to high-quality outdoor experiences — a factor especially true for low-income and at-risk communities across the country, where clean air and green space are often hard to come by.
