Through the Robert F. Smith-PCF Special Challenge Award for the Smith Polygenic Risk Test, the Prostate Cancer Foundation was able to invest in a genetic study of men of African ancestry, which helped them identify new risk factors for prostate cancer. This is a monumental breakthrough in prostate cancer research and can help save the lives of many men, especially Black men.
