Student Freedom Initiative Expands to 34 Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs)

Student Freedom Initiative announced the next round of Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) that will participate in its program. In total, there are 14 institutions joining, which increases Student Freedom Initiative’s cohort to 34 schools in 16 states across the U.S. with the potential to help more than 15,986 students. The organization’s programming is also being expanded at some schools to bring support to students from other underserved communities. These include students at Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs) and Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions (AANAPISIs).
