Sphinx Organization will host its 26th annual Sphinx Competition from January 25-28, 2023. The national competition is an opportunity for young classical string players of color to compete before a panel of renowned judges. Finalists will have the chance to perform with the Sphinx Symphony Orchestra and compete for almost $100,000 in prizes, including the top Robert Frederick Smith Prize.
