Mikayla Wallace, the first person in her family to attend college, discovered her passion for diversity and financial literacy through her internship opportunity. Wallace is interning with the Kresge Foundation’s Investment Office on an array of different projects, such as artificial intelligence (AI) integration, data analysis and work with equities. She discovered the internship through the nonprofit organization Girls Who Invest. Wallace’s ultimate goal is to teach financial literacy to help improve diversity in the finance industry.
