The National Parks Foundation (NPF) has announced that it is using $3 million in grants to create educational programs for children across the country. The ranger-led experiences will use technology to engage with more kids and classrooms across the country to meaningful learning experiences. Some of the programs that will receive support include the Jimmy Carter National Historical Park in Georgia, the Golden Gate National Recreational Area in California, the Homestead National Historical Park in Nebraska and the Voyageurs National Park in Minnesota.
